    About the Piano Lab: We are very

fortunate to have the facilities we have!  We have 22 basic student keyboards and 7 keyboards with disk drives and recording capabilities. We also have an assortment of percussion instruments and an acoustic piano.  In addition, the music room includes two student computers loaded with music software such as Music Ace, Smack-a-Note, Note Speller, and

Garage Band.

    All K - 5 students will come to the piano lab all year long this year.  Kindergarten comes to the lab once every eight days. First, second, and third grades come to the lab once every seven days, and 4th and 5th grades come once every six days. 

Sixth grade does not come to the lab

regularly this year.  Instead of regular 6th grade music classes this year, I am helping the band director on “full band” days, and I am the sponsor for the 6th Grade Newsletter.
