The Office of Federal Programs of Murfreesboro City Schools coordinates and monitors Federal formula grant programs awarded to the district through the Tennessee Department of Education.
These programs include:
Title I Part A – Improving Basic Programs,
Title II – Preparing, Training, and Recruiting High Quality Teachers and Principals
Title III – Limited English Proficent programs.
Title IV – Part A Student Support and Academic Enrichment
Each Title program is uniquely different in their requirements and rules.
The primary goal for Title programs is to support students who may be considered at-risk meet the same challenging State academic content and student academic achievement standards as all children are expected to meet.
