Join us for a one-hour workshop on smart saving strategies for families with younger children. Learn how to set up savings accounts, plan for future needs, and build a stronger financial future for your kids. We will be serving light refreshments. There will be door prizes, spots are limited so don’t hesitate!

We will not be offering childcare but there will be activity stations for kids to enjoy during the presentation.

Let’s Plant an Early Foundation

Overview:
Parents with children in grades K-2, we have a literacy workshop just for you!

In this hands-on workshop, our Reading Coordinator Kathy Daugherty will model effective reading and phonics strategies. Materials will be provided, and you’ll get to take them home for future use! Just come ready to learn and engage in ways that will plant a strong foundation for your child’s literacy journey.

This workshop will be available in both Spanish and English.

No childcare will be available. The workshop will take place in an instruction room; however, children are welcome to explore the library during that time with the supervision of another adult.
