Murfreesboro City Schools is proud to have a team of dedicated and compassionate nurses who care for your children throughout the school day. Each school has a full-time nurse on staff to support students with chronic health conditions such as diabetes, seizures, severe allergies, and asthma. Our nurses are also available to care for students who become ill or injured during the day.
All of our nurses are trained and certified in CPR and First Aid. Many are also certified American Heart Association CPR Instructors and work closely with school staff to ensure emergency response teams are trained and prepared in every building.
In addition, all Murfreesboro City Schools nurses are members of the National Association of School Nurses (NASN), reflecting their commitment to professional excellence and high standards of school health care.
