Murfreesboro City Schools approaches behavior and social emotional needs with a trauma-informed mindset and focuses on preventive measures and re-teaching interventions for behavior. We use the Response to Instruction and Intervention framework for behavior, also known as RTI2-B or MTSS, to make data-based decisions for student interventions. Behavior Coaches work with the RTI2-B Teams across the district to provide support and create plans for students with more individualized needs.
