The City Schools Foundation recently provided a grant to the MCS Coordinated School Health Department to purchase an interactive Heart Maze. The maze will travel from school to school allowing children to learn about their heart while enjoying some physical activity.

Northfield 3rd and 4th graders showed their use of grade level academic vocabulary in a vocabulary parade. Students were asked to pick a word for their vocabulary and demonstrate it by using a costume.
