Overall Creek Elementary was selected by the Murfreesboro City School Board as the name of the 13th Elementary School.  A school naming committee was formed in June and reviewed over 40 names submitted by community members.  The committee narrowed the selection to two names and presented the names to the MCS Board at their August meeting.

Overall Creek Elementary will feature a two story design with  geothermal heating and cooling.
