School begins Tuesday, August 7 with a half-day schedule for Murfreesboro City School students.  Students should pre-register before the 7^th for appropriate class placement and teacher assignment. Registering before the first day of school allows students to begin their school year with less stress and apprehension.  It also allows teachers the ability to plan and prepare their classrooms for a set amount of students.

Students must have all vaccinations up to date prior to Tuesday.
