MCS Outreach hosted “Girl, What’s Up”, a camp for girls to inspire, nurture, and expose them to enrichment activities that build self-esteem, character, and leadership. The week long camp offered professional role models from a variety of fields such as business, education, medicine, and engineering.

ESP hosted two technology camps at Black Fox  & Mitchell-Neilson Elementary coordinated by MCS Technology Coaches.  The camps consisted of creating webpages, digital stories, and movie making.

ESP also hosted two Super Science and Health Weeks at Tennessee Technology Center in Murfreesboro. Students explored science and health careers and conducted numerous science experiments.

Middle Tennessee State University College of Basic and Applied Sciences and Murfreesboro City Schools once again presented Camp PRISM-Practices in Science and Mathematics. The camp is a two-week summer camp for students with a math and science emphasis.

Leadership Collaboration Camp was a successful two week camp providing students with a first hand look at successful businesses and teaching leadership through community involvement.

Many more activities and camps have happened in the few short weeks of summer.
