MTSU Tennis Clinic has been postponed due to weather. The rain date for the clinic is April 27th. Advanced registration was required.
MTSU Blue Raider Mens and Women’s Tennis will host a free tennis clinic for Murfreesboro City School students in 2nd through 6th grade on Saturday, March 23. This beginners tennis clinic is designed to introduce students to the game of tennis.
Instruction will be based on the students knowledge and skill level and will include introductions and drills designed to help students learn the art of serving, volley, forehand, backhand and footwork drills. MTSU Tennis Coaches and players will be working directly with students during the clinic.
Registration in advance is required.
The clinic is divided into two groups based on age.
- Students in Grades 2nd, 3rd and 4th from 10:00 am – 11:30 a.m.
- Students in Grades 5th and 6th from 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Additional information:
- Students must wear athletic shoes and comfortable clothing.
- Students should bring a water bottle.
- Rackets, balls and other tennis equipment will be provided.
- Parents are requested to stay during the clinic. Bleachers are available at MTSU tennis courts or you may choose to bring a chair or blanket.
