Murfreesboro City Schools / Middle Tennessee State University Assuring Rigor and Vision for the future through the Enrichment of Learning
Over 100 students participated in the first gathering of the 2012-13 school year of Club MARVEL.
Murfreesboro City Schools has once again partnered with Middle Tennessee State University to offer a program for elementary students in grades 4-6. Club MARVEL is designed to maximize each student’s potential and foster a passion for life-long learning through exposure to a variety of fields and disciplines. Once a month students are involved in programs planned by various departments on the MTSU campus.
There is no cost for students to participate in these exciting programs. The following are the programs for the 2012-2013 school year:

- Nov. 10, 2012 Mathematics
- Feb. 9, 2013 Athletics
- Mar. 23, 2013 Liberal Arts ( Dance, Theater, Arts)
- Apr. 20, 2013 Campus Tour
- May 30, 2013 Agri-Business; Agri-Science
- June 4, 2013 Center for Environmental Education
Students from across the district participate in Club MARVEL. Murfreesboro City School teachers assist with the coordination of the program. Transportation is also provided from various pick-up points in the district.
