Attention Parents:
When parents receive their child’s report card at the end of the first nine weeks, the card will look a bit different this year especially for 2nd grade students. The first grading period ends on October 14 with report cards expected to be distributed on October 27.
KINDERGARTEN, FIRST, THIRD, FOURTH, FIFTH, AND SIXTH GRADE CHILDREN
This year, you will be seeing changes in your child’s report card.
For the behavior area of the report card, the following will denote progress:
M – Meets Grade Level Expectations
P – Progressing Toward Grade Level Expectations
N – Needs Improvement
× – Not Addressed During Grading Period
The academic area of the report card will remain the same as last year.
SECOND GRADE CHILDREN
This year, you will be seeing changes in your child’s report card.
For the behavior area of the report card, the following will denote progress:
M – Meets Grade Level Expectations
P – Progressing Toward Grade Level Expectations
N – Needs Improvement
× – Not Addressed During Grading Period
For the academic area of the report card, progress will be noted by A, B, C, D and F. The grades and their numeric equivalents are:
A 93-100
B 85-92
C 75-84
D 65-74
F Below 65
