Little Libraries

Murfreesboro City Schools has partnered with the Breakfast Rotary Club of Murfreesboro and Read to Succeed to establish a Little Free Library system throughout the school district. MCS students along with the Murfreesboro community will be able to visit the free library at any city school and ‘bring-a-book, leave-a-book.’ Libraries are expected to be erected outside all schools by the end of January. Librarians at each school will care for each collection and make sure that it is stocked with friendly and interesting books for readers of all ages.

We are excited to bring the community book sharing program to our city and we encourage all residents to participate in the free program. The MCS Little Free Libraries will join with over 36,000 little libraries worldwide. For additional information, visit littlefreelibrary.org
