Murfreesboro City Schools will host Kindergarten Registration April 8-30 for students entering kindergarten for the 2025-26 school year. Early registration allows future students and parents to visit the school, ask questions, meet staff members, and gather details about what to expect in kindergarten.
“We look forward to meeting our newest students,” says Ms. Sheri Arnette, Assistant Superintendent of Instruction. “Registering early allows our schools to prepare for the upcoming year. It also allows students and parents to get to know the school and receive resources prior to school beginning next year.”
We encourage you to attend kindergarten preview days scheduled for March and April. The dates are listed below, however, the school website should have specific details about school tours and preview events.
Zone waivers are also currently being accepted for open zone schools.
